LAKE WINNIPEGOSIS FISHERIES FORUM:
October 28, 2002

A regional fisheries information forum was held in Winnipegosis on October 28, 2002. Fishers attended from Lake Winnipegosis, Lake Manitoba, Dauphin Lake, Red Deer Lake, and Waterhen Lake. The forum was sponsored by Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation with participation from Manitoba Conservation, Human Resources Development Canada, Transport Canada, and local FFMC agents.

The Corporation initiated this regional forum to expand the communication network with fishers regarding current administrative issues related to the fishery and at the same time, allow other agencies to do the same.
