1 lb Pickerel/Walleye
(or other fish of your choice), cut into chunks
2 tbsp butter
1 finely-chopped onion
3 potatoes (diced)
1 finely-chopped carrot
2 cups water
2 cups milk
1 cup kernel corn
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
In a heavy
saucepan, melt butter. Add onion, potatoes and carrots. Cook over
medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Add water, cover
and simmer until vegetables are nearly tender, about 15 minutes.
Stir in milk,
fish and corn. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until fish flakes are
opaque. Add salt and pepper to taste.
